I hope you will one day read this
This message that I wrote
I hope I can get the words out of my throat
I hope I'll be able to float your boat

I hope you'll accept what I need to say
I hope you'll be with me one day
I hope that you will say yes
I hope that I can lift this burden off my chest

I enjoy every moment
I hope they continue on
Because without you
My mental state would be long gone

If I can one day ask this question
Say yes before I start suggestin'
Go out with me
I'll make sure you'll always be filled with glee
