Do we accept it like a weighted blanket of security?
Are we comfortable in our worries?
Is fear a friend?
Do we like hiding when things are hard?
Do we like running with the excuse of fear?
We can't live without fear,
Without first admitting that we like it.
We can't be above fear,
Until we've stopped succumbing to it.
We can't quit our addiction,
Without admitting that we have one.
Fear is a liar,
Fear is a foe.
Fear is the restriction to live.
I admit to listening to fear's lies,
I admit to hiding behind fear's doors.
I admit to wanting to lie under fear's blanket.
I admit to becoming numb in fear's darkness.
No more.
Fear, you don't control me.
Fear is a natural human feeling, it protects us from the bad things. Now the real achievement is learning to control it.

It can also be said that fear keeps us in a comfortable zone. Fear is the unknown and Comfort is safety. We can't grow as a person if we linger there for to long and miss new opportunities that can define us.
