LA VIE EN ROSE( life in happy hues)
When the angst in your heart grows
I shall sing you la vie en rose.
Upon the cassia scented grounds of my enchanting bower
Sleep hence my beauteous flower.
Perhaps you'll fall into some charming dream
By the banks of a picturesque stream
Where cherubs fluttered, sang that surreal song
"Hold me close, when the night is long
Rouse my soul, when my joys like flowers plucked lay shrivelled
Hold me close, when the gale lashes strong
Whisper your magic words, calm as placid waters"
they said life in happy hues is la vie en rose.
Like the pink hue of your dreamy reverie.

My rendition of la vie en rose was inspired by the great loius Amstrongs version, which evinces deep emotional connection with music and how it inspires or could raise depressed persons.
