She woke up the next day,
He had prepared breakfast,
She looked at the ring on her finger,
And remembered what had happened,
How will she cope?,
Will she let her dreams die,
He spoke a few words,
Cared for her,
But never went in to her,
He wanted more,
He loves her,
But he wanted her love,
And not just her body,
But will she ever change?
She liked the serenity,
She liked the peace,
But some voices,
Some dark voices in her head,
Told her she belonged elsewhere,
They reminded her of her dreams,
The classy brothel she wanted,
She needed to run away,
But felt she owed the man,
Some 'thank you',
So she aroused him,
Still he never gave in at the first attempt,
But at the next,
What's more?
She was his wife now,
It is part of what mattered,
But something else mattered,
Her love,
It was absent,
Even while they were intimate,
It pained him,
But he trusted the Lord,
Will she ever change?
And he woke up late the next morning,
She was gone!
Quick! He went in search of her,
His new Priceless Jewel,
He found her at dusk,
Almost dying again,
He brough her home,
Cared for her again.
But will she ever change?
She began to adjust,
Acted like a wife,
Learned some chores,
Never gave a smile,
She acted but did not live the life,
Here's a shocker!
She never revealed her true name,
To the man who loved her.
Isn't she far from changing?
A usual morning,
Someone walked in to their home,
It was his late sister's husband,
Who came on a visit,
And when her eyes met the visitor's,
The customer knew what he had enjoyed,
Mouth agape, held in an electrifying shock,
They both knew that's the end of everything,
But is that truly the end?
...to be continued...
