Dear Father....

in #poetry6 years ago

Hello everyone,

Whenever we talked about our parents we often say fathers are more strict than mothers. But that doesn't mean they don't love us or they don't care for us. They do. It's just that they don't know how to express their feelings especially Indian fathers. They are just kind of emotionally challenged. But their love and care is limitless. Our fathers are that support that we use to sit, stand and to finally, stand on our feet. They spend their whole life working for us so that we can get all of the worldly comforts. The only problem is that we see all this as their duty rather than seeing their love behind it. So, I just wrote a little thank you poem for all the DADS of the world so that we can appreciate their efforts and hard work in making us what we are today.
Dear Father

You teach me, you taunt me,
You love me, you scold me,
I feel like a princess
'cuz what I want you gave me.

I don't know the fear
that's how you had raised me.
But a world without you
is the only thing that haunts me.

Thank you, dear father,
for loving me, for caring me,
for everything you gave me.

I hope friends you like it. Fathers often work behind the curtains. We should give them recognition in front of the audience. I love you Papa. You are my role model, my idol, my friend. You are everything. To the best Dad in the world.

Thanks
