I Am The Best In Acting Like Myself (I.A.T.B.I.A.L.M.)

Yeah, it's about time I made an entrance.
I am Oluwatobiloba Jacob Agboola, the third child of four children and the second son in a family of appropriate balance. I've got two sisters and a brother. I'm a soon-to-be final year student of Agricultural Engineering at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (F.U.N.A.A.B)

The life journey started on the 20th of August, more than 20 years ago amidst cries that I wasn't aware of and joy that I'm sure of... Lol. The growth has been as usual and as expected since I'm comparing myself to myself. It hasn't been smooth but sailing never is.

Lol, I know that boy doesn't look like me, so you see why the comparison is just between then and now. A large chunk of my life is wrapped around literature and love. Though, love has always been smooth in my imagination but I'm still waiting for that lady to say yes, I think it looks all better now.

Close to the end of 2011, one of my uncles gave me a surprising task, he asked me to write about Nigeria..... He asked me to write a poem having only the knowledge of English language, I still don't know why I was happy to do it and I did. He made corrections and reduced my long write up to a short one and made it look like a poem, I did like it and I just grabbed on to poetry like it was bae (before anyone else) and the journey has been long, thick, thin and sweet.

He didn't considerably get involved again in my writing career but I was so in love that I didn't bother and had to seek out a friend who studied literature to help me out, his focus was on "Imagery" and that turned my life around, that little addition birthed a new side and made learning much easier.

Passionate writers group, Top Notch Writers organization, and a host of healthy competition made it all better...

I know I still have much more to learn in the literary art but I decided to start giving out what I know already and also help improve the value of literature in Nigeria, and hopefully in Africa. I started a school, that will be a stepping stone for individuals interested in writing quotes, prose and poetry having in mind that poetry is my forte and I have friends that can step in to help too.

I was introduced to this community by @euguma and he has been pretty helpful, I hope to have a great time here; reading, learning, and also sharing my quota.

Yeah, about the heading.... Tibex is my nickname and I got it from a book that had "Tobitex" on it... Tibex was formed in my head and I adopted it.... So, after a while I decided to give it a meaning and I made it sound like "The Best-Tibex" in my head.... Lol, so - I am the best in acting like myself. That's why it's always me against a better version of me. Not neglecting the fact that I've got friends and people better at some other things and that I admire.
