A sonnet is a type of poem used a lot by Shakespeare. It consists of 14 lines, and the rhyme ABAB CDCD EFEF GG. There are different versions of the rhymes, but I use that version. All lines should be related to the topic. I also made a sonnet. It's about a man nicknamed Mr. Meanie with a girl that explains what's with the nickname and her trying to connect with him, eventually ending with her running away from his house.
Mr. Meanie
I know a man who really hates children.
When he sees them, he gets very angry.
He once said hating children makes you zen,
This is why he gets called Mr. Meanie.
People call him and his brain very dim.
He shouts and cries but wants no attention.
But newspapers want to interview him.
Does he come from another dimension?
He lives on my street past the closest curb.
I hate to see him so lonely at home.
So why do people call him so absurd?
His house looks like a nice and spacious dome.
I went to his house and rang his doorbell,
Then ran away because his house does smell.
