I caught this beautiful spider stretching out late this summer.
Lots of old footage that needs pairing up. The audio is a bit of late night improvised piano recorded on my cell phone, the only way i can play! I'm really enjoying turning the practice into the process. The editing was built on top of the track, took half a day to sort out the right images.
Projects like these are an emotional outlet and function largely accepting an unpolished result.
Living next to a piano, and have some backlog from earlier this year. Expect more videos soon!

I loved this, @solrasol <3 Felt like a long, long drive. Past the hours of exhaustion, and then suddenly the mind flits into a moment of clarity, with the spider traveling up its line, an eclipse against the lamp, and then back again on the road, long, long, long drive. And ending with that small breather, on the side of the roads, watching everyone else going, going.
The music is wonderful, disjointed, original, raw <3
