Bemused i have become,
Of the politicians that abound,
Intellectual depth they lack,
All to their pocket they strive,
As disenchantment from them beclouding our thrive

I ponder and wonder at the lives of people,
To the grandstanding they speak in rhetorics,
They speak with the heart not,
All to their pocket they strive,
As Disenchantment from them beclouding our thrive

Left we are in abject poverty,
In acute frustration we are with life,
Our psyche going haywire,
All to their pocket they strive,
As Disenchantment from them beclouding our thrive

Election in the offing they come,
Cap in hand, seeking our right,
With hand-outs they think it could be bought,
All to their pocket they strive,
As disenchantment from them beclouding our thrive

Some rights they sought and bought,
because Poverty they have perpetuated,
Wouldn't you sold your birthright for a food?
All to their pocket they strive,
As Disenchantment from them beclouding our thrive

In four years they stay aloof,
Looking at us with disdain and contempt,
Our lives they tinker not to alleviate,
All to their pocket they strive,
As Disenchantment from them beclouding our thrive

Enough of all these shenanigans,
Our rights we must protect with our might,
Forgetting the transient succour they bring with grandstanding,
All to their pocket they strive,
As disenchantment from them beclouding our thrive

To their pocket they strive,
Stifling our collective growth for their thrive,
Inner heart we must sought for the drive,
Chasing them away like bees from their comfort hive
We are equipped with the right and that is our lives

WE NEED TO REVOLT WITH OUR INALIENABLE RIGHT--OUR VOTES
THEY WILL SOON COME CALLING
