Sit down and cry a river
Then soak yourself in it.
Let the pain course through your skin
And break you down like a sky scraper collapsing.
Pick your pieces
Then throw yourself so hard at the ground that you shatter all over
Get back on your feet,
Then slowly sink back into the darkness that once held you captive
Take off all your clothes
Bare your skin
Feel everything as though you're being punished.
When you're done, lie still, lie still till you breathe steady
And you can see again
And feel your hands and feet.
Then get up. Get up and leave.
Just go.
