The Girl on the Moon- a poem

"He saw her not at all then all at once."
Scene: After losing the ability to play the Piano, Lucious Reeve becomes an isomniac. And starts having hallucinations.

As I lay restless in sleep struck by Insomnia
I marched outside to get some air
There I saw the moon, luminious and round
At the edge of the crescent was a girl on the moon

She was a lady in red
Flipping pages of a book up in the sky
Legs moving back and forth
Humming an song up in the sky

I felt a jolt of agony, a revelation of love
I shouted, waved my hands , but it bore no fruit
My mind wondered how should I talk to this Godess
Girl on the moon, A lady in red, up in the sky

My hands shaking, quivering after all these years I decided it was time
The Piano, its keys would open a world to another dimension
I played "the moonlight sonata" by Beethoven
As I struck the keys, the humming stopped
My music were my words
I felt my consciousness wavering
Then it happened, the gate to another dimension, and someone had unlocked it

She was there, smiling, singing, dancing in musical magnificnece
After all these years, as my fingers struck the piano, I felt not happniness. Not joy. But Euphoria

And I will never forget what she said next:
"I am a crescent moon, but you make me a full one.
Now here I am reading, humming with the lady in red, the girl on the moon
As I lay dying, living, my pianoic keys unlocking life in another world
