I love the sentiment of this. I always say,that you get from art what you bring to it. Part of that is understanding that different people bring different things to your poems. They bring their experience, their joy, their memories, their sadness, their lives, and the interpretations which they come up with are a unique manifestation of a bond between them and the author.
