Blame The Fame

in #poetry7 years ago

I stay awake till a late night
Working for the spotlight
You don't fucking get me
I used to want this fame
This money, this Gucci and Ferrari
Now I just need some privacy
I weed out my old homie
Buyin' some gold and ecstasy
Traveling city to city
Strangers be runnin' after me
But I just need some intimacy
Went to party after party
But I keep feeling lonely
I keep poppin' the stasy
Hoping to feel happy
And I am still lonely
Thinking about my fame
I have lost from the game
I need to stay the same
Before people know my name

I get it that it could be some rap version, if you say it faster then it is! :P although honest opinion? it contradicts on some places a little bid, like somebody who is introvert but still is going to crowded places;) and introvert probably are too shy for drugs I think

nice poetry @hustling coffee bean:P

It sounded more like a rap verse like really :D
I am really hustling over here :D and I try to be a really creative coffee bean haha
