You're welcome Kaixin.
I love Greek mythology (and also Norse mythology), and I find that both mythologies inspire much of my writing.
I also write fiction, and fantasy fiction (game of thrones style etc) is the genre that I most like to write. Norse and Greek mythology inspires so much in fantasy writing, but the inspiration for both poetry and fiction do mingle, and it's no bad thing.
Thanks for reading, and taking the time to comment 👍🙂
Yeah, it really took me some time to check the information online in order to understand your poem. I am really glad that I can finally piece together the very little knowledge I have had about Homer's epic, knowing about the origin of Helen being abducted by the prince of Troy. It is because he chose to send the "Golden Apple" to Aphrodite, with the golden apple tree being guarded by the three sisters--Hesperide.
Oh, I am extremely ignorant about Norse mythology. But no doubt these mythology are the boundless inspiration resources for a writer. I guess that the famous Chinese mythology should be "Pilgrimage to the west".
I've read your new blog about Chinese poem. I have to say that you are just a real expert on Chinese poetry. Yeah, Tang poetry is a treasure for me. When I was young I fell in love with them.
