We're the side attraction that hangs by the road side...
Waiting for fortune to smile...
We're the citizens of heaven....
Serving our father's land on earth..
We're the citizens of heaven..
Sleeping under the beautiful music of the mosquitoes...
Enjoying the rich stench of vehicle fumes...
We're the citizens of heaven..
The future that was swept under the past...
The past that could've made a brighter future...
We're the citizens of heaven...
We're the foetus that were never born...
We're the citizens of heaven...
We're the fools that could have become useful tools..
We're the beautiful ones that never win beauty contest..
We're the gems that's never exceed the condom...
We're the citizen of heaven...
Languishing in lands meant for fallen angels...

Crawling under mediocrity...
At the expense of sagacity...

Yes I get it. It can also be true to people who feels like the world has turned its back on them. I prefer to be positive about my challenges in life but I guess it depends on what type of challenges you are facing.
I just love the way you describe such feelings of sadness. You have added a little humor in it but still portrayed exactly what you wanted.
