Flat on our backs,
Hoping to see
A falling star’s track.
The stars of our youth
So far, so high,

Aldebaran, aldebaran, be my guide, grant me a wish, said the poet. Like geniuses, stars offer us the opportunity to implore what we desire. But how real are they? There in the blackness of the night with each light of them a desire is born or dies. Like a rooster pecking corn grains, the stars disappear leaving us with the question whether they have heard our prayer. Aldebaran, Aldebaran, grant me a wish, says the poet, the man, the child and has faith that the star listens to him. May there be many stars in your sky, @johnjgeddes.

Many times dreams are like stars: unattainable, impossible or perhaps fleeting. But in spite of that, let's never stop dreaming, there is the hope that keeps us firm in this life. My respect, @johnjgeddes.
