Two birds, together and away,
From the rest of the world.
Quiet, then chirping, then joyfully splashing,
In the water as the stream moves along.
Soon, they will both fly away,
But for now, they rest and play and sing.
One along with the other,
In the beautiful garden.

I go to a nice public Japanese garden and get inspiration all the time for my poems by just looking at nature. That's what inspired this one.
