Your window cracks under the weight of billions of lies
Not yours of course, theirs
It must have been going on for generations in the circus
Fragments fall to the dirt floor in strategic patterns
Maybe it's a sign

Will you join me for some acrobatic indulgences to pass the time?
It's easy to fix glass
But, your still standing there un-amused

I always hope for the dawn to reveal something promising
The sun breaking over the tent on the horizon
A paradigm shift
Everything turns gold and purple and gold again
We are protected

See, nothing they told you was real
I imagine nothing they told me was real, either
That's lucky

What act are you following?
To be right or to be happy...
Does it lead to Eden
Only to pluck fruit from nearby trees
To sustain yourself locally among the clowns we call performers?

Let's experiment...
It will be conditional at first
that's how it always started on the tightrope

But, maybe there is another way
Brilliant lights
The sound of hungry lions
I am whole
You pick up the baton, no questions asked

Your apprentice can take notes
That's what she's there to learn
And for you it is to delegate

This might be forward
The audience is listening
Those windows were perception
The lies were lies
I'm talking about the dream of the planet

That's why I like when you play conductor instead
Taking us on tour
Seeing the beauty and the beasts
Sharing what makes you happy
What emancipates your soul
