Law of the Jungle by Sleezy Moss

in #poetry7 years ago

I just wanna run away from all the stresses of the city streets
As the city beats sounded the same altho' my rhythm beats the loudest
And it feels like I'm livin' life in borrowed times
Since I'm not as free as how my past life was except when I'm im my zone; writin' rhymes
I'm sick and tired of all the noises from all angles, working class citizen complainin'
Politicians kept on talkin', the high anarchy plottin' only for themselves
Digracefully lettin' others to suffer, makin' the topic wide enough for scholars to debate
But the question's of how many scholars whose willin' to questions remain?
Cause everythin' is fucked as this concrete jungle's a place for the decease minds
Money is God to the eyes of every single human beings
Since we're thought since birth, altho' my soul have been rebirth on plenty of times
Still, I seek refuge but nobody seems to care so lesson learnt
That's why you often seen me talk a lotta shits about politics
Cause the government favouritize only on their own kinds
The cops ain't helpin' the lesser they only makin' 'em suffer by threatin' us like we're the victim of their endeavors
And perhaps that's the same reason that I won't stand fo' no flags as I'm that mf who've forgotten about his own race's
