Looking at those bodies lay lifelessly in the supine position
Receiving repeated instructions from the lecturer as it was the normal tradition
Putting on some clothing accessories to avert some unfavorable situations
Brandishing my dissecting blades for some real brilliant incisions
Touching the cadaver at different parts, for some experimental palpations
Flipping through the pages of my manual for invaluable processions
Laughing at the murky past life of the bodies, which could have bn spurious predictions
Arguing about what a nerve looks like while infact exposing various innervations
Cutting deep into the fascicles while claiming to evade fat depositions
Dropping down tears because of formaldehyde pungency, and other preservative formulations
Expelling mucous from the nostrils and yet enduring the evil and necessary sensation
Thanking God finally for the first and quite successful cadaver session
Reading through some very gifted colleague's lovely compilations
Hoping to incise better during subsequent sessions, especially when the subject, by then, lies in the prone position.
