We were just kids when we began
To share the warmth of our hearts
A gesture was how it began
We were just kids when we began
To discover how a smile can
Melt a bad day and cheer our hearts
We were just kids when we began
To share the warmth of our hearts
This poem was inspired by @moeknows Monster Mind. There, in addition to the poem, he explained what a Triolet poem is and how you can write for yourself.
I've been struggling to make one for a while and I finally decided to settle for this. It's about our innocence at childhood, when we were still very happy and trusting and carefree. I broke it into verses to help understanding. I hope you like it
have a good day
Good one
Nice. I never thought of making it into verses. That's a good twist. I was a little bit taken back by the challenge of this myself. It's not as easy as one might think. Good work, Gray.

I'm glad you like it. Everytime, I read of your poems featuring a new format, I always wish I could do one for myself. You're like an inspiration to me.
And yes, it wasn't in any way easy
Thanks a lot
