When the words came along
So compelling and so strong
Even if it felt so wrong
I could not resist for long
When poetry asks me for a dance
Just like any other art
Sometimes I get it all at once
Sometimes a glympse, sometimes a start
Then it gets better the more I edit
It's not that I'm seeking any credit
I only seek credit for my choices
And I didn't choose to write those voices.
This was My entry for @terrycraft 's 14th poetry contest.

I took this photo yesterday with my Sumsung Galaxy J2 in the magical city of Djerba, Tunisia.
Arabic is my native language, but I still didn't figure out what those words mean. I guess I'll have to do some research and learn how to read it. Mybe I'll post about this puzzle again when I solve it.

I love this poem 💗 the part about "when poetry takes me for a dance" really spoke to me! Almost as if I could envision your writing taking you out dancing on the town!

Solid poem :) Beautiful photo as well! Hope you find out what it means.. I went to high school in the UAE for a few years and I fell in love with the Arabic language! Especially the writing.. I can read some of the words on the photo but I don't know what they mean either, hope you post an update! Following!
