Deadly metal
Robbery with metal.
Why?
What's its worth?
A Disgrace paste in city route,
African shy, hope in Western, woe our root,
Shame in shadow
Weeping like a widow.
Till u-turn break tye practice
And quake without notice,
Faithful achieved
Justice achieved.
Tell the British that daddy is dead
Aim but a shadow, mockery is visible to date
Century child remains a baby,
Focus? Idle and babyish.
My Analysis
The title is very apt considering the content of the poem. The poem invites the reader to be aware and conscious of the decay, pure faction, corruption and backwardness on our road and indeed cities. There is the theme of corruption and underdevelopment. This theme is properly projected by the use of language. There is apt selection of words to push home the message.
