**THE ROSE THAT GREW FROM CONCRETE (BY TUPAC AMARU SHAKUR) INTERPRETATION BY LORDSON OSENEGAME **

Did you hear about the rose that grew from a crack
in the concrete
Proving nature's laws wrong it learned 2 walk
without having feet
Funny it seems, but by keeping its dreams
it learned 2 breathe fresh air
Long live the rose that grew from concrete
when no one else even cared!

INTERPRETATION
From a general and natural point of view, we believe the rose is too fragile to grow from a concrete (we all expect it to grow from a tender soil), but yet the rose surprised the concrete by adapting to its hardness and finding an escape route for survival and excellence..

THE ROSE-In this poetic piece, the rose doesn't just represent an ornamental flower, it represents the beauty of our existence, it represents the goodness of the human heart and wonderful ideas 1. item
THE CONCRETE- This represents our society;the society in which Tupac Amaru Shakur grew up in had a lot of rigidity and limitations like every other. Society plays a lead role on who we become, but still the final model depends on us(the rose).
THE CRACKS- This is the breakthrough created by the consistent, rugged but swift struggle of the rose. The cracks, were formed through the struggle of the rose (without work, we cannot exceed our boundaries). Society plays a lead role on our character but still we can counter the negativity of any society.

We can change any situation to make us greater!
