LET ME LIVE

There was pomp in heaven among a host of cherubs sent on a great mission by the master
My eyes were fearful and sorrowful reluctantly
I departed home to traverse this treacherous word
Your womb the master choose I inhabit
Millions of eggs I had to battle my tiny hands held
Thousands of promises my tender heart housed
Millions of stars with malicious intent.
You terminated my dreams
You aborted my promises
You were happy to kill my future
Silence in heaven
You lived your life but denied me mine
The cherubs were downcast as I returned in pieces and tears
If only you had known what promises I had in my tiny hands
