Wow, really captured the essence of what it is to be a good parent. Obviously we love our children, but we really have made an achievement when our hearts go out to those someone elses in the world. When we hurt not just when those we love dearest hurt, but when humanity hurts. I think you touched on a connectedness that is really the root of what it means to be a loving person. Very nice.
