Who will ascend the mountain of the Lord and who will stand in his holy place? Psalms 24: 3

A man walking in the desert, half dead with thirst, met a tie salesman.

  • Do not you want to buy me a tie?
-I have all the classes and all the colors.
-Look at this cute silk tie will look great
-I do not want a tie, what I need is water!
-I'm sorry, sir, I do not have water.
  • Are you sure you do not want to buy me a tie?
    -Do not!

Continuing his way to climb to the next dune, he could not believe what he saw.
There was an air-conditioned restaurant, its windows shining with the sun as an invitation to enter and cool off.

Surely the restaurant could serve you many glasses of water!
Almost falling, he crawled through the sand until he reached the entrance.
He opened the door, and was about to enter when the doorman approached him and said:
-I'm very sorry, sir, but you can not enter this restaurant without a tie.
Poor man! He died of thirst simply because he did not meet the requirements to enter.

How to enter into the presence of God, being that he is holy?
How should we prepare ourselves internally to be before God?

The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin, when we accept by faith his sacrifice for us on the cross.
He removes our impurity and our guilt.

I invite you to prepare yourself to know the holiness of God, with clean hands and a pure heart, leaving aside all your sins.
