Conical luminosity of pine

In the shadow of a pine.
.
It swelled like chia,
The blister of a black sun—
Noxious bursting, full overrun.
.
Cold lethargy rapped me on the skull
With a cane of candy & spice.
Stupidity with a kind face
Came bearing tinseled
Presents, the glimmer
Of sweet-terrible advice!

Indistinguishable clumps, the questioning face
Monsoons like a laughing mask, japanese lantern
Spreading through dawn's corners, eating the
Declarations of colored paper, eating the
Colored thoughts in people's minds
While they sleep.
Endlessly into a nauseous crowd pontificating:
.
(Senate of daisies, stardust confederation)
.
Blinking operates the lightswitch; swallowing,
The levelloader; smiling, the landscape.
And thinking? Bizarre distortions that
Ripple through the vague projection—
Kingdom of dichotomy and strife
Hanging by a thread of silver
From the tender galaxy.

And yet remains, the progressively more
Decrepit becomes the facade of insanity.
.
The further one brooms into the
Cobweb tube of the unconscious,
The exponentially darker the
Prospect of matter's satisfaction.
.
The broader one flings throughout the
Bathtub of pillaging stars, the increasingly
Haggard becomes the garish worldly wetsuit.

Incredible work , I found this poem very mysterious yet powerful many of the words resonated with me. As for the art you did an incredible job, and the way you make strips with the art is a very unique edition .
Thank you @bitcoinman I was in the mood to take a long time preparing this one and I'm glad I did as I feel satisfied with how it turned out. Actually I made several permutations of images with your photo that I thought were... just okay so I kept experimenting. I'm still novice with digital manipulation but I try to use slightly different techniques and expand my toolkit each time. I'll definitely use some of your images again in the future! Thanks for reading and glad you resonated with the piece.
I think you are on the right path experimentation is key, keep on expanding the toolkit, I think your editing is already very good. What kind of tools do you use ? Do you use a phone or computer ? either way I would not mind sharing the tools I use if you like, next Sunday for the never ending series I will be posting a video of the behind the scenes process
