Beautiful Smile

This is a poem written for those who are negatively self conscious. A poem written for those who look down upon themselves as not "perfect". Society has been flooded with media's expectations, leaving those unable to keep up confused and ashamed. According to the media you may not have the "perfect" body, face, or style. I'm here to tell you that it doesn't matter what they say. You are amazing, and you should show it with your smile. :)

BEAUTIFUL SMILE

It doesn't matter what they say
You are here and here to stay.
With your unique, amazing style,
Walk through that door with a beautiful smile.

This'll be tough,
It may take a while.
Pick up and get going
It'll be worth your beautiful smile.

They push you lower,
Leaving you in shameful denial.
Ignore all that bullshit,
I want to see your beautiful smile.

Staying strong is an important key,
Though the media puts everyone on trial.
They think they own the power,
But nothing is stronger than your beautiful smile.

Show them you won't have it,
keep walking down that mile.
There is plenty of proof,
With your shining beautiful smile.

Building confidence is a hard task,
Stacking up tile by tile.
Keep it sturdy on that,
Big beautiful smile. :)
