The Warmth of Asphalt
Her affections
Breakdown on the shoulder
A hitchhiker
Without destination
Unattached
And Faceless
The countryside varies
With scandalous judgement
The bite of a scavenging dog
Unaccustomed to kindness
She raves and the sky
Is a psalm painted blue
The minister mumbles
Hobbles his progress
An altar adoring the stone
was built with perfection
A strength found in weakness
is meant to be held
Beating hearts
Wrenched in repair
An answer
Withheld
A porcelain sparrow
That flies into night
