In this series of poems, I'll gather the great philosophical poet, known as Khayyam's poems
his poetry is simple, short and deep




My fire gives forth no smoke-cloud here below,
My stock-in-trade no profit here below,
And you, who call me tavern-haunter, know
There is indeed no tavern here below.

از آتشِ ما دود کجا بود اینجا
وز مایهٔ ما سود کجا بود اینجا
انکس که مرا نامِ خراباتی کرد
در اصل خرابات کجا بود اینجا


A brief info on poet :

Omar Khayyám, was a Persian polymath, scholar, mathematician, astronomer, philosopher, and poet, widely considered to be one of the most influential thinkers of the Middle Ages. He also wrote numerous treatises on mechanics, geography, mineralogy, astronomy and music.
