The Creativity Bug: Poems, Memes, and the Meaning of Life

I join the ranks of Mark Twain in a triumph admission that I didn't let school get in the way of my education. The best things they have taught are reading, writing, and a little math. Everything else I learned in "extracurriculars." Aka doing the dumb shit and getting back up again and again.

I share with you now poems to live by. Don't let anyone say you are effiminate or soft or a loser if you read poetry. They have been for me the fastest way to a bit of wisdom in an unexplainable world. Get some grounding with poetry in a sea of busy bodies.

Poets labor intensely on getting profound ideas across with the fewest words and often a lyrical beat. Just because a poem is merely two pages long doesn't mean it won't blow your brain into another dimension.
