The Art of Today, Poem

So I recently made this one, it's a bit of my own stuff mixed with some of my favourite song lyrics, hope someone likes it :)

I could dress myself fine
Bring up some Shakespeare rhymes
But does that really reflect the passion and time
That were put into our lives and used to define... who we are?

Who are we to wonder where we’re going?
Who am I to tell me who I am?
Let's take it back and take in every moment

Nobody wanna take the reins
Nobody wanna push their brain
Nobody will admit that they're fake for the facts they claim
You see we're all imperfect in a perfect way

And I know it’s hard when you’re falling down
And it’s a long way up when you hit the ground

Weep not for roads untraveled
Weep not for sights unseen
May your love never end, and if you need a friend
There's a seat here, alongside me
