The Circus Was In Town

The circus was in town so we thought we would go.
We loaded up the wagon an off to the show.

The elephants were amazing. The tigers were great.
They even had tamed this big hairy ape.

This man was funny, I think he was a clown.
I started to stand but someone yelled, "sit down".

I'm glad I sat down and very quick because this old man wanted to hit me with his cane stick.
