FROM THE START (A POEM)

in #poem7 years ago

We were there in the beginning

When birds first began to sing

When the mountains began to form

We created the first storm

Creating you was such a joy

That we made more like many toys

But what we admire most is your heart.

For it is what we did first create

From the start

Your tears have been heard by us all

Through your prayers we do hear your call.

For we know what’s in your mind

And through us you will find.

Many spirits who are with you

Who remain true

Loved ones who reside in your heart

Watching you from the start.

Yes, we see the wars upon your land

But we are influencing with a guiding hand.

We will not let pain go unanswered.

All face the use of a sword.

Seeing your pain brings us tears

For we hold you so dear.

From the beginning in our hearts

From the start.

Please do not cry.

For we see how hard you try.

One day you will be free

One day stand will every tree.

Don’t you see?

One day battles will cease to be wars

When soldiers aren’t needed

Which isn’t far.

One day no bodies will require the cart,

Because we were there,

From the start.

Soon you experience unconditional love

You will experience the peaceful dove

People will care for those as they do for themselves

To that intention they will delve

They will give

So that they might live

Truly live

Truly live

That was the way it was then

That is how it should be now

As from the beginning, in every heart.

The way it was from the start.

Beautiful and meaningful poem.

Thanks, I believe I used Silent Lucidity as a template when I wrote it.
