A Poem: Heavy Gravity - a Personal Account

There is a girl lost in the space of her own mind

Thinking always about the space behind

Lost opportunities, gravity that held her back

An orbit sending her spinning to a derelict habitat

But the stars continue to shine

There is hope in space and time

Heavy gravity, pull me down

Sink me into the ground

There is a forcefield penetrating me

I'll drift and I'll float and the stars will be mine
