Surrender to the fire's pure embrace.
The only hearts that dare survive the grave
Burn bright before that icy mountain face.

A few had turned to stone in their disgrace.
In cold and rusted halls they went depraved,
For they were wary of a pure embrace.

While others sought to serve that sacred space,
Who burned in great infernos and were saved;
Burned bright before that icy mountain face.

Then some went North to flee and be displaced,
To cower from the fire in some cave,
And there they dreamt dreams of a warm embrace.

And those who lived for nothing were erased,
For they were only getting what they gave;
Devoured by that icy mountain face.

For those compelled to stoke the stoves in grace,
In earnest fueling of a fiery stave,
Surrender to the fire's pure embrace.
Burn bright before that icy mountain face.
