“A LOVE for All Seasons”
AUTUMN
The wind blew colder
And the leaves turned brown
I searched for your love
That would soothe my frown

I looked at the cloudy sky
And leaves started to fall
Where is my love?
Who’d hear my call

Tall trees looked bare
With no flowers in sight
Days became shorter
And long darkness at night

Birds started to migrate
Towards a warmer place
Rainy days have prevailed
A quest for a cheerful face

WINTER
The breeze was freezing
At times there were flurries
Finding a kind embrace
Please love, do hurry

Your affection is like a fireplace
As snow touched the ground
Warming my heart in gladness
As white lands surround

With eyes, so nice to look at
But where do creatures eat?
Like a desert but filled with ice
Loving families where we meet

Am glad that I have found you
Amidst the coldness of evenings
A kind spirit of enthusiasm
A blessing that God brings

SPRING
A horizon of icebergs melted
And the green grass was seen
Daylight became longer
The sun came out so clean

Sunshine filled the forests
And blossoms had sprung
Colors were seen everywhere
And gave delight to the young

Holding hands we walked the park
And heard the birds sang loudly
Finally we found home
In peace our hearts are godly

The sweet scent of buds
With leaves like open arms
Trying to reach the heavens
A new love life that warms

SUMMER
Sunlight that shone so bright
With rays that made rainbows
Colorful gardens we all visited
In family love we became close

Happy children ran in playgrounds
And swam in the calm sea
Climbed viewpoints in mountain tops
For as family we are free

No matter how seasons may change
From autumn, winter, or spring
When summer days fill the earth
An abundant life these bring

Plants grow from sunrise to sunset
So do people grow from sad to glad
We have one another to cherish
As much love we got from mom and dad
