An original poem
A sneeze, a blessing, “Bless you.”
Then, a happy in store a greeting, “May you be blessed again.”
An awkward stare, “And who are you to be blessing me?”
“May you be blessed by God then.”
“But I don’t believe in God.”
Then, “May you have all you have ever dreamed of.”
“That sounds like a curse, I’ve dreamed of a lot of things I would never want to have happen.”
We both laugh...
Smile sweetly, nothing more needs to be said.
Appreciate the person who puts your groceries into your bag.
There is a place where blessings happen without any words.
The gift of the whole universe.
A place beyond any religion or personal belief.

Well, what I insinuate/deduce from your poem is that there's too much emphasis on religion before good is done; but that good should be natural, it is natural. I have believed in God all my life, it's difficult not to now but I imagine religion does cloud our vision, we need to do some introspection. Your views about God do not appear to be mainstream. Resteemed.
Introspection is a wonderful gift, I feel very fortunate to have time for prayer and meditation. I think religions do open doors for us but it is up to us to go through them so to speak. Thanks for commenting and the support!

I'm not disappointed, it is great that you have your beliefs. The poem is about a conversation between two people of different beliefs. They find a way to reconcile their differences. (Sorry about my lack of good writing skills - it seems like people are finding different meanings)
I think many of us in the world do have some differences but hopefully that should not prevent us from sharing. Perhaps is hard to believe from my writing but I believe in god. (Although my guess is that we are different in our views about the nature of god) I'm happy to be friends with anyone as well.

I like it a lot! It is very much like what I was trying to say in my poem. I think a lot of people seem to have not understood my poem too well, but creative works are hard sometimes. Poems are so subjective, who is to say really what is better? Thanks for your comment!

Thank you! May God bless us. I do have a trust in our eternal nature although perhaps our views on the nature of God are different. Language is so difficult to explain these things well with and the poem is more food for thought.
The poem is basically about a conversation between two people who have much different ways of thinking and don't really understand each others intentions. They find some way of relating to each other in laughter and the beauty of the smile. (It seems like it was not written as well as it could be. Oops.)

It is kind of not so much about my beliefs. It was supposed to be about two people having a conversation in a store that hold very different beliefs. They find a compromise of sorts and an understanding between them. (It is difficult to make clear in the poem for me).
The poem did stem from my practice of wishing peace and joy to all things and not really having the right words to say to people to make them understand how I felt.
i feel sad with your poetry today kawan.ya maybe we are different about our belief.
but it does not work with our friendship in this steemit world.
and hopefully we can get closer and more harmonious.
hopefully what you want can be achieved in the future

I think every individual in the world has there own personal beliefs and no two people are exactly the same. If they were there could be no free will. It is our differences that are beautiful to see, yet this can lead to misunderstandings. No two flowers are exactly the same either. I hope you understand and are not sad.

When the sun emits light
Then this flip is flat
If I do not find the path of light
Will there be a sword embedded in a crossbar?
Others worship
Am I turning direction?
If every book has a story
Will there be a data writer myself?
When all history has been dissected
Is there anything that buries me?
Black .. should I be friends with you?
Dark .. should you be my best friend?
When the light comes and dark fades
Feeling weak without being tough
