Buried in shifting sands.
Twisted shards of ancient doom.
Pride came before this fall.
Now we dabble in forbidden tech.
Pushing buttons without a clue.
Racing for the stars only to crash into the ground.

The imagery I could deduce was that of a cosmic effect, I love the shortness of the verse, it's beautiful my best verse of the poem
