Why Did the Chicken Cross the Road

Why did the chicken cross the road?
To show the possum it was possible.

But chickens are fast and possums are slow
and now there's another dead possum in the road

So the chicken moves on to teach again
A horrible fowl. The possum killing hen.

I hope you have enjoyed my little darkly humorous poem.
