The Playful And Terrible Pencil

Whose pencil is that? I think I know.
Its owner is quite happy though.
Full of joy like a vivid rainbow,
I watch him laugh. I cry hello.

He gives his pencil a shake,
And laughs until her belly aches.
The only other sound's the break,
Of distant waves and birds awake.

The pencil is playful, terrible and deep,
But he has promises to keep,
After cake and lots of sleep.
Sweet dreams come to him cheap.

He rises from his gentle bed,
With thoughts of kittens in his head,
He eats his jam with lots of bread.
Ready for the day ahead.

The Delightful And Exciting Lobster

Whose lobster is that? I think I know.
Its owner is quite angry though.
He was cross like a dark potato.
I watch him pace. I cry hello.

He gives his lobster a shake,
And screams I've made a bad mistake.
The only other sound's the break,
Of distant waves and birds awake.

The lobster is delightful, exciting and deep,
But he has promises to keep,
Tormented with nightmares he never sleeps.
Revenge is a promise a man should keep.

He rises from his cursed bed,
With thoughts of violence in his head,
A flash of rage and he sees red.
Without a pause I turned and fled.
