Ok so... It's been a while, but there is something I wanted to share. For those of you that don't know, I'm a podcast host. I haven't really talked about it on here. But today is a new day, and the podcast hit a pretty big milestone today and I wanted to talk about it. So a brief history of how I came to be on the show.
My cousin (@generikat) and her friend Brady started it back in July of 2020. It was a random collection of thoughts that was recorded and publish. It was an odd mix of social commentary, pop culture and conspiracy theories. For them it was a way working through the Covid Pandemic by bitching about the Mandalorian.
In February of 2021 I helped record an intro bit for Episode 26. I would continue showing up to recording days just to see if they need an extra voice for the show. Finally in May of 2021 they had me on as a guest for Episode 38 and... I kinda never left. It was Katie and Brady on the podcast, AND RANDY! I was in, and it was awesome.
In September of 2022 we gained our newest host, Scott. Scott has proven himself a valuable contributor to the podcast and is now the show's Executive Producer. He secured us a bitchin' new soundboard. Now we don't sound like we are recording in a decommissioned submarine. This brings Brady no small amount of joy as our audio engineer.
Late last year we began to shift the content of the show away from a rambling stream of consciousness to more timed and segmented show complete with intro and outro bumpers. The show is going through transition and I feel that it is changing for the better.
Having been apart of the show for the last two years has been the greatest privileges. So I would ask you dear read, please have a listen to episode 100: The I-Centennial. Let me know what you think. Until next time.
Yay for milestones and finding directions and stuff XD 100 eps is pretty impressive.
And I love stories like that of how people randomly get involved unexpectedly in things :D
