I submitted an application to Google's Podcast Creator Program. I realize that the chances of me being accepted are probably less than that of being accepted to Harvard. But filling out the application was an important exercise that not only got me thinking about how I would structure the podcast, but it also motivated me to (regardless of the outcome) to launch the podcast eventually.
Sometimes rejection and dissapointment are the best motivator, who agrees?
In other news, I know that I have been very absent from Dtube and Steemit recently, but I believe that is about to change. I have been working 10 hour days at FedEx in order to earn enough money to save for the computer I want, and I have almost hit my goal.
Thank you for your time and attention, see you in the comments@

I'm putting out positive energy and hope for you to get that position!! I really appreciate your realness, it inspires me.
"You miss 100% of the shots you never take" applying is a powerful step in the direction you want to be. I am gonna follow suit and start applying for the things I want to be a part of. What did you tell yourself to get over the hump that didn't want you to apply?
I agree that everyone should document in some kind of capacity. I think it is good for personal growth. It doesn't have to be for the world, I agree with you that it would be absurd to expect that out of everyone, but I do feel it brings a level of accountability that we desperately need in our species. That is my theme for all of 2019 document, document, document, document.
2018 was a rough year, but it taught me a lot. I am proud that I am now choosing to live consciously and not make excuses for the things I am unhappy with. In 2019 I have a few goals, 1st is to upload a video Every. Single. DAY! 2nd is to pay off car and credit card debt , and 3rd is to become a digital nomad and start traveling.
What are some of your goals for 2019?
bro, I am so honored for your thoughtful comment. I apologize to you for my extremely delayed response. I typically respond to every comment within 24-48 hours. I have been MIA for a little while now because I didnt have a lap top, and I work for FedEx and with it being the Holliday Season I have been working long and unusual hours.
I think to get myself over the hump I really just had to remind myself that all Loses I take are mine and mine alone. I am super excited to hear that you are deciding to get after the documenting game in 2019. I also really appreciate what you said about my level of realness. I try to be as open and honest in this journey as I can.
I love your goals for 2019. they remind me of my goals last year. I followed you. I'm looking forward to watching your journey.
My goals for 2019 are: 1. finish my degree. 2. Make my fashion company profitable. 3. expand my "documentation" of my life to other platforms such as Youtube, IG, Snapchat, etc.
Really my biggest goal is a mental goal. I want to make my mind really quiet. Like really quiet. Learn to control my thoughts and my emotions. Make myself in charge of the machines rather than the machines in charge of me.
Thanks for taking the time to watch. Again, sorry for the late response. I promise im usually not that bad
Good wishes for you

thank you!
For 2018, I am happy to have paid down a whole lot of debt and also to have proven to myself that I can do profitable work and sales from my home without a more visible (and expensive) storefront.
For 2019, I want to build the systems and relationships that will allow me to sell to people outside of my local area. That will allow me to be location independent.
Thanks for sharing the video. Good to see you posting again!
Matthew, I am sorry for my super late response (and also for my lack of communication on other avenues as well). I have been in a certain mental space the last month or so, and sometimes shutting out is just easier. I apologize and meant nothing by it.
Your 2018 goal is my 2019 goal more or less lol.
I'm saddened that I wasn't able to help you further your 2019 goal (as it relates to computers), but I still hope we try that book video sometime in early 2019 😝
Good to hear from you! Thanks for the reply. I understand how that can be. I'm sure doing the kind of work you do in this season takes a toll on a person, too.
I'm doing some book posts on Whaleshares. I'm still exploring ideas with online sales, especially with crypto as the payment method.
