Possibly!!? I need to read more about it and I don't want your efforts to go to waste. Let me see how I can make use of it.

I have sent 100 Pocket tokens, as of now it has almost no value but if people start to use it to buy and sell stuff then someday soon it might have some value.

And I hear that soon Pocket might be available on some Exchange, so... let's spread some Pocket tokens and make everyone rich. :)

It might be possible that it could be added on Bisq (the P2P Exchange Network - bisq.io). I downloaded the software but haven't tried exchanging anything yet. Do you have any connection to @biophil? I see that sending pockets is easy enough but how does one see how many pockets one has (I could interject a joke here but I will refrain). Does it actually do anything beyond what steem does? I suggested elsewhere that it might be possible to sell the concept of steem to online media sites - if there was a way to brand posts and responses as coming from a particular website. For instance a local newspaper could encode a value "Daily Newspaper" (name of the print media). They could filter any posts by their particular "tag" so only showing their content on their website. I think this could be sold across the media environment because it would open up new revenue streams as well as changing their payroll process with contributors.

You can check your balance by sending 1 Pocket Token to anyone, and you will get a reply with the details.

I do not have any connections with @biophil, but I feel he is easy to contact and if you have any suggestions or questions you can just comment on any of his posts.

I saw a post some time back, and it said that soon Pocket tokens might be available on Bitshares soon, but do not know when. I hope that will be soon enough.

I also agree that media can make use of a token such as Steem and make money instead of selling ad space and subscription. Many cryptocurrency startups are trying to do the same, there is Lunyr, Authorship coin, Akasha, ADZbuzz and many others working on similar platforms but none has been successful.

All that I can say now is that this is just the beginning, we need to wait actually to see the benefits of the decentralized system.
