This case has stirred up a lot of strange responses. People have been celebrating the death, but it's murder and tragic for his family. Then there are fake Tweets attributed to Musk saying all business practices are justified for profit and now all sorts of speculation about the guy arrested.

The only good to come out of it may be more discussion about healthcare. Our service in the UK is good, but it's under stress. Making it about profit is not necessarily the best solution.

sometimes, more so when I succumb to cynicism, I take the position that I know democracy doesn't truly work here in America. Why? Well, because regardless of your political leaning the majority of Americans want single payer public healthcare. One one think that since it's the will of the people, the elected officials would be working towards this goal, but of course that is never the case...

In a simple yet all encompassing phrase: We are ruled by corporations.
