My dog Maggie broke her leg last weekend after jumping off the bed wrong in the middle of the night. Maggy is very active for a 16 year old dog, but now she has to take it easy for the next 6-8 weeks until the cast comes off.
This is already her 2nd cast, the vet has to change it out every week.
It’s not easy taking care of a dog with a broken leg, but it’s a good change of pace. I’m almost on a mini vacation here watching her, but look forward to her recovery and for her leg to return to normal. Luckily it’s only a break and she won’t need one of these below…
