SPLINTERLANDS-- WEEKLY CHALLENGE WITH CAVE SLUGS

The theme for this week SPLINTERLANDS Share your battle challenge is Cave SLugs. This monster is will be provided to everyone once we purchase the Spellbook as a starter pack. Therefore, as a newbie, I have a chance to use this monster to participate in this week Share your battle challenge.

Now, I am going to explain my selection of cards.

This is my team during the battle.

This battle allow us to use only 16 mana which is very less and not much selection for us to create a great team.

I have chosen Mother Khala as my summoner because she has the skill to increase my team's health so that we survive for more round. I also think that Cave Slugs have only four live which is not enough to survive the battle with those monster that will attack the monster at the back.

Then, I choose Silvershield Paradin as my tank. I am very in love with those monster with the skill "Shield" because this skill decrease the attack of the opponent when they hit the monster with this skill. Therefore, I have chose this monster as my tank and hope it can deal with more damage. This may protect the cave slug.

Next, I put Divine Healer in the second position. Although this monster doesn't have the ability to attack, but the skill on it is very useful. She can heal the monster in the first position which I think is great. She has given my Silvershield Paladin has more chance to survive.

Next, I have placed Cave Slugs at the third position. It is a melee attack monster but with its' skill, it have the opportunity to attack from any position it is. The nicer part is it will target the lowest health monster. Sometimes, a small attack on the lowest health monster will change the whole game. Other than that, it has 2 melee attack which is quite high for those monster with lower health.

I think my strategy work in this round because the 2 melee attack by the cave slug is the game changer. Without this monster, I still don't know who will win.

I am surely confirm I will use Cave Slug next time when we can use many mana. I will try it with silvershield knight next time. As silvershield knight can increase all friendly melee attack which will increase the melee attack of Cave Slug increase to 3.

I love it because of it's skill and it's 2 melee attack. Normally, the opponent highest attack monster will have low health. So I think if we lucky, we can knock out that monster in the first when Cave Slug attack it.
