There is plenty of them in my area. I always look up in the tops of trees to see if I can spot them. They are in full bloom right now.

Sweet, my favorite plants are native plants which, of course, differs depending on where I am. The pictures looked so interesting, I imagined them an exotic from a distant island.
I imagine that Florida has a huge diversity of plants and is likely a favored haven for botanists.
Florida has many native plants. I want to find a Bartram's air plant (T. bartramii)

This sounds like it would be a fun application for drones.
That's a good idea and sounds fun. Getting them down once you find them would be a task.
Well, maybe you could be the inventor of the drone that picks air plants off the tops of trees and become a millionaire. Come to think of it ... the same technology could be used for coconuts or even plucking cats off the tops of telephone poles; So the sky is the limit.
Now that would just take all the God given Joy out of retreating those items.(air plant,coconutor the cat ) which by the way would have a hissee over a drone. What fun would it be if we did not have to go the extra mile to get the reward.
