The planted Pickup.

This pickup, or "ute" as we call them in Australia has been planted with a garden. It's an unusual feature of one of Northern Sydney's better Nurseries / garden centres, Eden Gardens. Funnily enough, i used to work on this same site many years ago when it was another Nursery business. I visited there last month to buy a few bulbs and have a look around. As a Horticulturist, i like to see what's new in the plant world, and keep up my knowledge. Plant breeders are always releasing new and interesting hybrid varieties.

I would like to thank all of you who make this blog so great with your wonderful comments. The comments section is so large that i don't have time to reply to all of them, but rest assured they are appreciated but i usually answer any questions . I try to allocate upvotes as fairly as possible according to the effort i feel has been put into them and the "seniority" of the commenter - those who have been commenting on my posts for a longer time.

There are also naughty people who either comment more than once, some who i suspect use multiple accounts to comment on posts, and those who don't quote a Source for their comments. I love you too, but hopefully they will eventually learn to do the right thing. I have a responsibility to the Steemit community to allocate upvotes responsibly.

One thing that most pleases me about being involved with Steemit is how multi-cultural this blog is. Comments are made from all over the World in different Countries. Australia is one of many Countries which benefits and gains so much from a multi-cultural society. I get a good laugh out of some comments too, as sometimes it is hard to write well when your English is not perfect, and this sometimes leads to unintentional . but amusing mistakes. It matters not , i am not perfect either.

Thanks !New5 055.JPG

@ctrl-alt-nwo,
You are absolutely correct! I understood the way you reward us and it's pretty good way of course! In my home (I am living far away from it at the moment), my father is maintaining a good garden and when I go home, I could see a lot of new plants with flowers are planted there every time! So, sometimes I am trying to share what you share with us! Unfortunately some of these plants are not easy to find here!
Anyway, I could remember once you wrote a series of articles about Cow/Cattle farm of yours! Are you still doing it or you left that business? You showed us a dry zone area and how you guys planned to collect water! Actually it's really useful thing for my country dry zone area as well!
Personally I won't copy and paste more details about the plants and flowers that you introduced us here! Moreover, I am lacking by the knowledge of gardening! But everytime it's something new that I hear through your articles! Nice to meet you here and appreciate the way you are doing as a whale on STEEMIT!

Cheers~

I also sometimes meet very interesting places for
planting, @ctrl-alt-nwo .

Nice VDUB Beetle !

There are also naughty people who either comment more than once, some who i suspect use multiple accounts to comment on posts,...

Yes, you are right! I’m sure it bothers most of us, but then I’m thinking 🤔... these people with multiple accounts making multiple comments are at some point desperate, at least most of them. I try to use my common sense to see who is real and who is just trying to take an advantage of us by spamming. You’ve done an amazing job with a little help of spam catchers. However, I love your way of rewarding. Your rewards go to them as well, because you know they at some point spend their time to make a at least a bit meaningful comments even if they are spammers with multiple accounts. Most real people here really appreciate what you do here including me.
Here is few pictures of my choice of planted pickup truck to contribute in both subjects.

First af all, your pictures look great. I may browse and look for some and of course add it’s source, because where I live, I’ve never seen this kind of planted truck. But most importantly, I would like to let you know that you are definitely my favorite steemien. I’m always excited when you post a new blog with a new flower ideas. I even say it to my wife “I’m working on a new flower” and she laughs 😂. There are already sooo many steemiens leaving this amazing platform, sooo many my favorite steemiens have already disappeared. I just hope you stick around forever.

Thanks, i hope i stick around for a while too.

Sir, we also love you more and your amazing wonderful post. Today's post is quite different from other post , new interesting things learned that really a wonderful idea if this idea spread all over the world, world will be a heaven. Very creative idea. The creators of this "flower bed" were able to give life to an almost "dead" machine.

Очень креативная идея. Создатели этой «клумбы» смогли дать жизнь почти «мертвой» машине.

Great work sir, i appreciate your interest to know about many plants. Besides you we have also curious to know about plants and flowers. If we know about our nature then we can make it more beautiful.

Great, thankyou !

Gosh! This pickup truck really attracted many colourful plant pickups full of flowers and plants! I hav never seen anything like this before! For us, cats and trucks are too expensive to be used as pots for planting flowers! These are very creative for alternative garden design.

Cheers.

Truck still has a use after it stops running I see. Whatever floats your boat. :-)

proxy.duckduckgo.jpg

Thank you for posting @ctrl-alt-nwo.

Lovely photographs and subject matter. I can really appreciate this raised bed......hopefully no rabbits or as @englishtchrivy would call them....'bugs-bunnies.

Appreciate the translation 'ute'...... ^__^

Thank you for the note to Steemians.

Wishing you and yours a lovely weekend.

Cheers!

"ute" is short for utility vehicle. I thought you would like this as you are an "arty" person :)

Thank you for your kind reply.....hehe....I did wonder. ^__^

I did appreciate it very much....it was quite 'arty'.

Cheers!

It really looks amazing by the way and a pretty vintage way of restoring a Garden.Liked it.Seems like the memories of yours came alive :)

I do appreciate the words of yours towards the community :)
As there are many old Steemian who thinks the other way around and that is why I respect you a lot.

Thanks for the love that you shower on us as upvotes. It means a lot.

I totally agree with your last context told you about some steemians behavior in steem blockchain. Biggest salute your better consideration to followers.
That's perfect way growing plant in naturally. I'm grateful thanks giving you introducing various ways.

@ctrl-alt-nwo, Absolutely I respect your thoughts about steemians and steemit platform. We all not a perfect and can be mistakes every time. Mistakes guiding to us how to resolve problems and then make great future.
Glad to see Nursery business in Australia. Also yo're great Horticulturist in steemit media and we all already get massive advantages from your planting blogs. This step better way for growing plants.

You already started amazing and great work @ctrl-alt-nwo. I prefer to see your plantation work every time. This would be a impressive task I've seen.

That's looking truly amazing what a great joy it would have been to see that in real :)

Some comments are like your photo. On first look it looks trashy, but if you look close you can see beauty inside it :-)

Thanks for being a great example! Rock on @ctlr-alt-nwo

I remembered O. Henry's novel, which is called "The Octopus Marooned""Trust that burst", so the title is translated into Russian. More precisely, not a novel, but his adaptations. there is a phrase, Lead, of which this gold is made, is more expensive! Throw it in the dump, it's a pity, but to carry it in his pocket, it's hard.)) But, very pretty flower beds have turned out!

Hello Mr. Botanist @ctrl-alt-nwo, It feels always good to interact with you and to discuss the normal things other than the routine commenting based on various flowers. Be cause to be very honest you are very generous and kind soul and you always try to appreciate others which is really really positive point of yours.

Australia and Pakistan has almost same weather pattern. As it is an agricultural country with an awesome economy Australia is very famous and dear to me too because of the Cricketing stars including Donald Bradman, Ricky Ponting, Shane Warne, Steve Waugh and many more greats of all time.

As you mentioned that you have been working here in this particular nursery before. I am pretty sure it feels really good to remember old god days when one visits the places where he used to work.

It is your love and passion for the steemit that you always ignore the silly grammatical mistakes of the language. Because people all over the world always want to comment on your blogs the reason is you are generous and very honest to appreciate the comments.

Once again I would like to thanks you for all the wonderful appreciation you have been showing to all your fellow humans. Massive respect for you <3

Thanks for the nice words !

that looks funny. will try to visit that place when I´m in Sydney in a few month

They have a nice display garden out the back.

Awesome pictures as always.

Thanks alot for appreciating us.
I was at first drawn to your post because a friend told me how "fertile" your comment section is with upvotes.

"I must do have a bite of this cake" I said to myself, and I did. Lol

As you may have noticed, most of us (plankton) come to survive off the comment section rewards of whales like you.

But one thing made me keep coming back,
Not the upvotes... Naah
Your passion for horticulture.

It is beautiful seeing someone passionate with a thing and being careless whether or not he receives accolades.

It is indeed motivating

Keep doing what you do,
Keep being awesome.
we love you

I have visited Baguio a few years ago, lovely Mountain region of Phil.

You are one of the nicest steemian I can recall since mid 2017, and looking into it since then I have observed that it has been a very nice engagement with various people across the globe and i think that is the beauty of steemit. I am sure many people might have seen the flowers you post on day to day basis, but the botanical name and little bit of description leaves an impression to all readers.

Thank you and Have a great day.

Great post sir. Shared on twitter .

This pickup, or "ute" as we call them in Australia has been planted with a garden

That's unique and interesting.
About the spammers, I understand how frustrating it can be for someone with a good following but you're still giving them a chance.
If they still continue with spamming, it's their loss
